This is a big reason why all corporate media still endlessly states Hamas killed 1200 Israelis 10/7, while it’s now known Israel used the Hannibal Directive and were responsible for at least a few hundred of the deaths. This was even stated by the man in change of the Israeli military at the time too…

Regardless, they’re in the top 4 for oil funding, so that alone earns them none of my business!

One Journalist Wants Answers.English3·4 months agoSure, maybe on paper…but check this out: https://scheerpost.com/2025/02/01/did-a-trump-executive-order-just-cripple-the-global-us-regime-change-network/
Regardless, why is the only aspect of USAID which was “forked” into a Trump approved department specific for coup’s? Makes you think which, with nothing but love, is something it seems you should do more of when it comes to US policy.
§ɦṛɛɗɗịɛ ßịⱺ𝔩ⱺɠịᵴŧ@lemmy.mlOPto World News@lemmy.ml•Why Has the BBC Been Receiving Money From CIA-Front USAID? §ɦṛɛɗɗịɛ ßịⱺ𝔩ⱺɠịᵴŧ@lemmy.mlOPto World News@lemmy.ml•Why Has the BBC Been Receiving Money From CIA-Front USAID? One Journalist Wants Answers.English2·4 months agoIt’s not just USAID. The BBC is actually funded by two branches of the US government.
Last year, the US State Department gave BBC Media Action £280,000.
The group says it used the $$$ to reach 100 million people in 24 countries with its programmes.
After covering the BBC’s public relations response, the article then goes on to say:
That sounds nice, of course. But when you’re aware of the role USAID has played as the ‘friendly face’ of US imperialism, more scrutiny of BBC Media Action is essential.
What I took away from it is that since the BBC is affiliated with this blatant US corruption, regardless of directly or indirectly, the specifics regarding the association needs to be known by the public.

In looking up the definition, it’s defined as “a radical change in appearance, it may imply a change in clothing, haircut, or cosmetics”. This being the case, I’d say the title’s spot on. But it all comes down to how you define makeover regarding if the titles misleading. It’s a bit ambiguous, so I see what you’re saying.

It’s all about grabbing attention in order to bring focus to the disastrous situation we’re in with our environment.

But with a mortgage you own the home and eventually you’ll have no monthly payment, whereas renting means you’ll always pay and the landlord has the final say in matters.

So this wouldn’t make much sense to have been posted 6 months back. But being posted now demonstrates the expansion of the Israeli attacks. Nonetheless, I get where you were coming from with it.

While it was responsible for an obscene initial death toll, the country still has this Cholera strain actively being spread, confirmed via genetic analysis. In a country with fragile water filtration infrastructure, a severe lack of vaccinations, and a heavy distrust in the local government, this was a perfect storm which the repercussions are still being felt to this day… Stay away from Haiti UN, you’ve already done enough!

Additionally, all the Wikileaks published data was old. However, it’s government secretes, so we’d either have to wait a few decades for the Fed to release it, like with MK Ultra information, or have it published much sooner by Wikileaks. Regardless, hopefully if there is any unpublished information it was handed over by Julian to associates outside of Wikileaks so they could release it before the Fed is forced to do it.

All mainstream propaganda spins the story to paint the US as the hero, which alone should make you highly curious of the other side to the story.
But based on your user name, it makes way more sense a primative eukaryotic lifeform struggles to decipher the massive bias from mainstream news sources these days lol.

Have you ever applied this same level of scrutiny to the information you approve of? Until this takes place, you can’t logically be confident in your stance whatsoever. But, do whatever makes you happy, I won’t argue against it. Yet it’s ridiculous to write off anything in opposition just cause it’s not as you understand it.
Here’s the sources you more or less asked for, I made sure it’s from mainstream sources seeing as you’re opposed to independent media for whatever reason.

Two wrongs definitely don’t make a right, but after the US overthrew the country’s government they should have understood they were going to encounter retaliation at some point.

Meaning with less beef consumption, the total US agricultural output would increase. But veggies aren’t subsidized to the same extent as beef and corporations value profit over everything.
C’est la vie, especially these days. All you can do is come to terms with knowing we each have an expiration date and just live it up until that inevitable day.
